Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

Lone Mountain Psychiatry is a cash-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. You may be able to submit a superbill to your insurance company for possible out-of- network reimbursement.

Are appointments offered virtually?

Yes. Telepsychiatry is available for eligible patients in the state of Nevada, allowing you to receive care from the comfort and privacy of your own home.

Do you prescribe medication?

Medication management is an important part of the care offered at Lone Mountain Psychiatry when medication is clinically appropriate.

How often will I need appointments?
There is no one-size-fits-all schedule. Appointment frequency will depend on your individual needs, treatment plan, and how you are doing over time. I will always work with you to make sure the frequency makes sense and is feasible for you.

Do I need to be in therapy?

Psychiatric medication management and psychotherapy are different forms of care. I do not provide psychotherapy, but therapy can be an important part of mental health treatment, and I may recommend or coordinate with a therapist when appropriate.

Do you treat everyone who requests an appointment?

My goal is to make sure Lone Mountain Psychiatry is the right fit for your needs. During the intake process, we’ll determine whether the practice and services offered are appropriate for you.
