Care that Feels Personal.

You deserve to feel heard.

Finding the right psychiatric care can feel overwhelming. Appointments can be rushed, treatment can feel one-size-fits-all, and it can be difficult to find someone who takes the

time to understand the whole picture.

Lone Mountain Psychiatry was created with a different approach in mind. I intentionally keep my practice small so that appointments can feel unrushed and personal. Together, we’ll take the time to understand what you’re experiencing, discuss your options, and create a treatment plan that feels appropriate for your needs and your life.

My goal is not simply to treat symptoms. It’s to help you feel more like yourself again.

Our Approach.

Our philosophy is simple: listen first, prescribe thoughtfully.
Medication can be a valuable tool, but it should always be part of a collaborative discussion. We believe in explaining options clearly, answering your questions, and making treatment decisions together. Our goal is to help you feel informed, supported, and confident in your care.

Is Lone Mountain Psychiatry Right for You?

Our practice may be a good fit if you are looking for:

  •  A provider who takes time to truly listen
  • Evidence-based, compassionate psychiatric care
  • Thoughtful medication management—not rushed prescriptions
  • A collaborative relationship where your goals matter
  • A calm, private, and welcoming environment
  • Direct, consistent care with the same provider at every visit

If you're ready to take the next step toward feeling more like yourself, we'd be honored to partner with you on your journey.

Our Provider.

A collaborative approach to psychiatry.
I’m Kelly Bucalo, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a background in both family and psychiatric care.

With years of experience in healthcare and dedicated experience in outpatient psychiatry, I understand that mental health rarely exists in isolation. Your experiences, relationships, physical health, stressors, goals, and values all matter.

My approach is warm, thoughtful, and collaborative. I believe you should have an active voice in your care, and I’ll work with you to develop a treatment plan that makes sense for you.

When appropriate, I also welcome the involvement of supportive family members or other members of your care team.

My philosophy is simple: listen first, understand the whole person, and work together toward meaningful change.
